Woke up this morning, and for no rhyme or reason, started thinking about Calvin and Hobbes. Spent a good two hours at work, trying to find a copy of their last strip, to post up on the blog, but couldnt find a good enough image…Found the first one instead, with Bill Watterson, the creator of the strip, giving his inputs at the bottom of the panels.  Felt like  sharing this with anybody who is a fan…

First, a few words though.

Calvin, if you hadn’t thought of rigging up the tiger trap, and Hobbes, if you hadn’t been “stupid”, we would never have had so much fun in our lives. Thank you to both of you. Hope that you continue having great adventures exploring the world, wherever you are…

And Bill, thanks a ton to you, for sharing your dreams with us, and making us a part of your magical world. Without you, there could have been no Calvin and Hobbes, and without Calvin and Hobbes, growing up would have been such terrible bore. Words fail me, so all I will say is “Thank you” once again.
